Known for having some of the most spirited and dedicated fans in the nation is The University of South Carolina, which is located in the heart of Columbia, SC. It is the only school in the nation to have had the same mascot for over 100 years, and unique to them only is, the "Fighting Gamecocks". The University of South Carolina Gamecock fans are quite a spirited group and always show up for tailgating dressed in their schools colors of burgundy, black, and white. They are always rockin' their school colors with anything from temporary tattoos, foam fingers, t-shirts, and lots of other fun crazy stuff to fabulous dresses from such designers as Judith March, Karlie, and Jade. These designers have so many great dresses to chose from as they know that the Gamecock ladies love their game day dresses as much as they love a good game! Last year ESPN ranked USC's student section #5 in the nation.
