Louisiana State University is located in the deep southern city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Baton Rouge is home to many wonderful Louisiana traditions like being the capitol city, governors mansion, state art museum, old Louisiana state capitol, but most importantly the Louisiana State University Tigers!! Many Louisianans are proud supporters of their beloved Tigers! The Louisiana State University mascot for the tiger is Mike the tiger mascot!! The Louisiana State University Tigers are so fierce in their athletics that they are nicknamed the "Fighting Tigers!" Louisiana State University's Tiger stadium is filled every gameday with an eye full of purple and gold drenched fans cheering on their favorite team!! GO TIGERS!! Louisiana State University is established and has been around since the 1800's! WOW! Louisiana State University's mascot Mike is a legit tiger, he is a live bengal- siberian tiger ix that lives across from Tiger Stadium! Talk about intimidating, LSU's live mascot is defiantly more scary than a sophomore in a tiger suit! Gameday at Tiger stadium is always a spectacle of fans adorned from head to toe in Purple and Gold attire! Louisiana State University has won 45 National Championships! Look like a National Champion too with a New Judith March dress for gameday!
